CAD and CAE CONSULTING
Computer-Aided Engineering is a booming technology which utilizes computer tools to predict how designs will behave. Consultants begin by either designing a 3D CAD model or using your supplied one. We are available to assist in consist of thermal, dynamic, static, and fluid simulations.
3D CAD Software
Primarily we use Dassault’s Solidworks for 3D models. Other 2D or 3D modeling software maybe available upon request.

Cubesat DEORBIT SOLUTIONS
Helio Labs operates it’s own proprietary research efforts. With continued growth in CubeSat launches, Low Earth Orbit debris is a growing concern. With nearly 700 new CubeSats expected in 2022, and their relatively short lifespans, more affordable off the shelf solutions needed.
Mylar One Time USE Sail
Our simplest design will use stored mechanical energy to expand a Mylar sail. The dragsail effectively uses drag forces for up to 700km LEO.
composite Multi-Use Sail
Reinforced Mylar composite sheets with electro-mechanical deployment allows for multiple uses. The sail is designed to use both solar pressure thrust and atmospheric drag for low dynamic maneuvers. Ideal for higher LEO orbits.
